Military Occupational Specialties

The military services use the following military occupation codes (MOCs) to refer to occupational specialties. The number in parentheses following each title is a military code. MOC titles and codes may change because the services update them during the year.

Army Specialties:

• Armor Senior Sergeant (19Z)
• Cavalry Scout (19D)
• M1 Armor Crewman (19K)

Marine Corps Specialties:

• Assault Amphibious Vehicle Crewman (1833)
• Basic Tank and Assault Amphibious Vehicle Crewman (1800)
• Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV) Crewman (1834)
• LAV Crewman (0313 )
• M1A1 Tank Crewman (1812)

Navy Specialties:

• Assault Boat Coxswain (0164)
• LCAC Operator (0167)
